Well, I built my chicken coop out of straw, and then a storm came and destroyed it and all killed all of my chickens.

Being crushed and asphyxiated sounds pretty violent to me.

I still have PTSD over the deaths of my beloved chickens...

Eh, I guess I should have pointed out how action follows thought which follows belief which follows experience in order to also connect all that to the aspects of the world that are due to us...

...oh well.

“The world we have created is a product of our thinking; it cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”

This means simply that the process by which we understand reality is an intersection between our beliefs and our physical perceptions (rather than being a direct perception of what is real); our beliefs are the lens through which we interpret our experiences--taking fragments of the underlying reality and constructing a new personal reality out of them, something that is necessarily not what it tries to represent.

This is why we shouldn't take ourselves or what we believe too seriously--they are only approximations to the real thing. Live by them, die by them? Yes, because by definition we don't have anything else. Take them seriously? Ridiculous!

This is also why two people experiencing an identical event can have contradictory understandings of it.

The words belong to Einstein, but the idea he paraphrases with them does not.

I agree with Michael. Has anyone ever considered that the reason Freddy Boy harps on and on is because HE may be guilty of something? Daughter Shirley bore an illegitimate son; who's to say Freddy Boy didn't put it to her (CHILD MOLESTATION) and has been trying to hush it up ever since? I wish the government would make them (he, Shirl, and sonny Sam) take a DNA test. Results could prove interesting...if not conclusive.

I personally believe that there should be a physical revolt against This man's group. If the American government won't massacre them, then another group needs to deal with them. Until that day I will be wishing willfully. And I will enjoy seeing the blood of his children splatter over my face while I rape their corpses (although I don't think they'll get it up, they are ugly bitches) Maybe we could just get the FBI to raid the house of every Westboro Baptist and hang them one by one. Children first so their mother's and father's watch in horror. And at the end of it all, it shall be recorded, every bit of that slaughter, shown to Phelps, and he will suffer death by 1000 cuts. I am a new zealander and sadly have absolutely NO power to do this. But I simply hope that all the gangs of America and the government ally for one day of lawlessness and ignorance of human rights of the Westboro Baptist Church.
Thank you for the blog. And I pray to whatever God exists that one day our wish will be granted

Let's get serious. On the website for the Westboro church, you can acces their picket schedules. Let's make their peaceful demostrations a little more interesting and snipe some of them. Maybe pour napalm over pastor Phelps and them throw him into San Francisco Bay.
